A mystery patch is hidden behind the target button. Your synth starts from a plain init sound, listen closely, then turn knobs until the two are identical. The meter tells you if you're getting warmer, and the coach calls out whatever is furthest off. Twenty rounds, then the dice never run out.

Why this trains your ears

Sound designers don't read patches, they hear a sound and reverse-engineer it. That skill is just a loop: listen, guess which knob explains the difference, move it, listen again. This game is that loop with a score attached. If you get stuck, work in this order: waveform first (the raw material), then filter (brightness), then envelope (shape in time), then movement (LFO). It's the same order the course teaches, each round leans on one lesson. When the numbered rounds feel easy, the dice never runs out.
